Call for Nominations - Ohio Transfer Council

***Deadline to Nominate March 15th***

If you know of an OTC member who would benefit the organization in one of the following leadership positions, please contact Kimberlee Avery by email at kam53@uakron.edu with your nomination.

President Elect (three active years on the Executive Board as President Elect, President, and Past President)

Secretary (one active year on the Executive Board)

Treasurer Elect (two active years on the Executive Board as Treasurer Elect and Treasurer)

Once nominations are closed ballots will be sent out via email for OTC members to vote on throughout the month of April. Winners will be announced at the 2013 OTC annual conference held on May 31st at Franklin University in Columbus, OH.

As community colleges increasingly serve as gateways to the baccalaureate, focus on transfer policy and practice has intensified. Incorporating perspectives from community college and university administrators and transfer students, this webinar will focus on findings from a statewide study funded by TG Public Benefit Grant Program on the efficacy of Texas transfer policies and practices.

Topics for exploration include:

1. Administrator perceptions and enactment of transfer policy
2. Student transfer experiences
3. Practices supporting successful transfer
